Lyle’s Golden Syrup launches gold-plated tin for charity

Lyle’s Golden Syrup have created a gold-plates one-off tin to raise money for charity over Christmas.

The one-of-a-kind luxury tin was designed by Design Bridge, took over 500 man hours to create and is engraved with the seasonal Bake, Eat and Be Merry livery by London-based engraving specialists Swatkins.

The 454g 9-carat gold-plated tin was auctioned off on Ebay last week raising a total of £650 for Newham All Stars Sports Academy, a local charity that aims to give young people from the area the opportunity to participate in and learn through sport.
